Survey on Consumption of Local Fruits and Vegetables in Virginia
Dear Virginia Food Consumer:
You are invited to participate in a survey titled “SURVEY ON CONSUMPTION OF LOCAL FRUITS AND VEGETABLES IN VIRGINIA”. The purpose of this study is to collect data on demographics, consumer purchasing behaviors and perceptions related to local fruit and vegetable purchasing in Virginia. This study is being conducted by Dr. Venkat Mummalaneni from Virginia State University (VSU) College of Business, in cooperation with Dr. Theresa Nartea from VSU College of Agriculture & Virginia Cooperative Extension.
If you agree to participate in the study, you will complete an online survey that should take 10-15 minutes of your time. There is no time limit. The survey will remain open until June 30, 2016. We also ask a special favor of you to share this survey participation email with your colleagues, friends, and family living within the Commonwealth of Virginia, even any social media promotion is welcome. We just need to get as many food eating Virginians to fill out the survey as possible.
SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: At the end of the survey, participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a copy of the book: From Asparagus to Zucchini: A Guide to Cooking Farm-Fresh Seasonal Produce by the Fairshare CSA Coalition.
