2017 VAFHP Annual Conference - Glen Allen, VA on January 30-31, 2017

Hello Everyone!

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 25th Annual Virginia Association of Forest Health Professionals Conference, to be held January 30th & 31st, 2017 at the The Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center in Glen Allen, VA.

VAFHP is comprised of representatives of state and local government entities and the commercial sector.  Each year we convene to exchange information, expertise, and ideas in a mutual effort to manage and control damaging forest pests and problems. We are on track to offer a well-rounded agenda providing up-to-date information about established and emerging plant, insect, and disease pests. Pesticide recertification and continuing education credits are currently being requested and we will update this information at www.vafhp.org as it becomes available.

The Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center is conveniently located near the intersection of I-95 and I-295 on the north side of Richmond at 1000 Virginia Center Parkway, Glen Allen, VA 23059. This year we are pleased to offer the government lodging rate of $91.00 plus tax for all attendees. Guests may call the following numbers to make a reservation: 804-727-1400 (Direct to Wyndham Virginia Crossing) OR 877-999-3223 (Central Reservation). The group room rate ends on January 8, 2017.

Registration is now open!  Full registration for the conference is $110.00 through January 8, 2017. After that full registration will cost $125.00. The one day rate is $80.00, regardless of when you register. Lunch is included on the first day, and the conference will conclude by lunchtime on Day Two.
